Description: Share the simple beauty in details of nature and the natural world
Artist's Statement - August 2016 My images expose my curiosity and respect for nature and the natural world. Many of my photographs capture the subtle interplay of light and the shape of the subject: the simplicity of a line or illuminated curve. Other times I purposely blur the the subject to allow the light to reflect and reveal the intensity of the colors that are displayed, often with long exposures of moving water. My macro images of flowers highlight parts of nature that can be easily overlooked if not examined with careful focus on their intricacies. In my wildlife images, animal subjects are framed by their natural habitat that capture their active lives.
