Hog River Brewing Co. is a mom & pop craft brewery and taproom, hidden in the vibrant neighborhood of Parkville, Hartford. We feature a constantly rotating list of craft beers brewed onsite, from our flagship Kölsch- style ale to bold, barrel-aged offerings and everything in between. We also feature all-local guest taps of hard ciders, wines, cold-brew coffee and teas. Housed in the former Hartford Rubber Works building, which manufactured the country's first pneumatic tires for automobiles and bikes, the taproom pays tribute to its industrial roots. Massive machinery from the turn-of-the-century sit among the barstools and picnic tables, and pieces of Hartford history grace the walls. You'll usually find a food truck outside, games inside, live music, pop-up events and more. With a laid-back and always welcoming vibe, folks feel at home in 'Hartford's Living Room.' For Open Studio Hartford, the brewer will show work by owner, Ben Braddock, Mount Hook's Sonny Gamboa, and a collection of works from Art by Chris Brown. Please join us!
