Description: Abstract Impressionist Oil Paintings that have elemental energy
Since the age of four, when I painted all over the new garage walls of my parent’s home in Berlin, Connecticut, I knew I was drawn to visual expression. Without formal training I found my own way, formulating my own style. Throughout my career in the corporate world, I stowed time away for instruction in various media — sculpting, thrown pottery, Norwegian folk art painting, wood carving, dress design, jewelry design, and interior design. In 2008, I returned to my passion, painting. And I began studying with prominent artists such as Eric Aho, Leif Nilsson, Jonathan McPhillips, Ted Mikulski, Joe Nicoricci, David Dunlop, Robert Noreika, Estelle Laschever, and Zbigniew Grzyb. In 2014, I traveled to Farnesi, Italy, to study with William McCarthy at Borgo Rinascimento International School of Art.
