Description:  Kiln formed glass, sculpture and jewelry

Glass (kiln fired, blown, cold sculpted and flameworked), ceramic, metal and wood. Owns and operates Lakeside Glass studio in Granby, Connecticut. Art Education: Studied painting and design with the late Mary Roy at the New Britain Art student’s league. Studied Fine Art and Illustration at Paier College of Art in Hamden. Hot Glass- Brookfield Craft Center Fletcher Farm Vermont The Studio at the National Bottle Museum, Ballston Spa New York Hot Glass Horizons-Corning New York The Worcester School for Professional Crafts studied with Sally Prasch and Beth Lipman. Penland School of Crafts, North Carolina studied with Henry Halem Massachusetts College of Art, Boston Mass. Studied with Dan Dailey, Alan Klein, Susan Bane Holland and Linda Ross. Recent shows: Annual Juried Canton Gallery on the Green; Washington Art Association; Milford Christmas show; Ct Potter’s Cooperative Association show and sale; American Celebration of Crafts Ridgefield Festive Home Show MassArt Holiday Show, Boston Mass. Teaching Experience and Affiliations: Volunteer teacher for the Schizophrenia Rehabilitation Program at the Institute of Living, Hartford, Connecticut. Recipient of the MetLife grant through the New Britain Museum of American Art to teach hot glass classes as part of the 2008 glass show. Faculty member Guilford Craft Center, Guilford Ct Visiting Artist Snow Farm Art Center, Massachusetts Designed and presented workshops regularly in kiln formed glass to children and adults at the Holcomb Farm Center for Art and Environment and the Arts and Crafts Association of Meriden Teaching Assistant, Sculptural Glass Massachusetts College of Art, Boston Mass. Guest artist The Greater Hartford Neighborhood Studio Program, sponsored by the Greater Hartford Arts Council Designed and presented a CEU workshop for the Board of Education Wallingford Ct to be delivered to a group of public school art teachers August 2006.
