Artist Profile

Nancy Dudek

Medium: Alcohol ink, acrylic, oil

Description:  Small, framed work inspired by nature and Connecticut agriculture

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Hartford Art School. My primary interests are in landscape painting, still life and other nature inspired subjects. Connecticut Tobacco sheds are among my favorite subjects because of their symmetry and the way they sit on the landscape. I enjoy both representational and abstract painting but find abstract to be much more challenging. Alcohol ink is an intriguing new medium I have been obsessed with for the past year. I enjoy teaching as a volunteer and sharing anything I learn about art-making. I will be showing the the Women Artists Collective.
