Description: Watercolors that bring people of all ages, joy and happiness
I am inspired by the many people, animals, and places around me. As a child, I collected toads around my yard; I would keep them for a day, play with them, and let them go at night. Animals hold a dear place in my heart. This is shown in my artwork, through whimsical watercolor illustration to make people smile. In 2008, I graduated from University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and a concentration in Illustration. In 2014, I graduated with a Masters in Art Therapy at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT. I spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy and explored fresco painting while seeing many historical Renaissance paintings (And of course eating their wonderful Italian cuisines!). I continue to work at Masonicare at Newtown, as an art therapist, helping those at the end stages of their lives create art.
