Description: Pottery, small oil paintings and greeting cards
Naomi Nevo Ben Ari is a visual artist creating paintings, ceramics and installations. Her work has been exhibited at venues such as The Mystic Museum of Art, Mystic, Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, Boston, and events such as Park(ing) Day, Hartford. As a finalist in the 2019 AXA Art Prize exhibition, her work was also shown in San Francisco Art Institute, San Francisco, Richard Gray Gallery, Chicago, and New York Academy of Art, New York City. Nevo Ben Ari has been featured in Artscope and in The Connecticut Landscape Architect, and is the recipient of awards such as Brattleboro Museum’s Artful Ice Shanties outdoor exhibit Honorable Mention and the Jeffrey A. Shoham Purchase prize at the University of Hartford. Recently, Nevo Ben Ari was the artist in residence at Farmington Valley Arts Center, and a resident at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center. She received a BLA from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a BFA from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
