Dr. Carlene Buchanan is an educator at EduPro Learning Center, CT, but she is equally absorbed in her art. She is exposed to many art forms, but her forte is abstract and digital art. The essence of "everything art" is what captivates her - the colors, the imagery, and the sheer beauty. Her work is the expressive embodiment of no rules. Take a tour of her gallery and enjoy.

Simply put, I/You can tour Jamaica (JA) through my art. I remember how colorful life was when I was growing up. I grew up surrounded with colors. Every home in my community was painted in bright colors, every home had a beautifully manicured garden, every mural, everything about summer and more were colorful. When I create my pieces, it is just natural for me to reminisce about life in Jamaica. My work is a reflection/journey of who I am, where I am from, and how I have evolved. I follow no rules, I create what I am inspired to create. It is just amazing how I can plunge myself into my art and forget about everything else. It is an escape from the monotony of every day life - an indulgent dessert and beauty.
All pieces measure 16x20" and sell for $350
