I love turning different types of materials into colorful, extraordinary creations. My work now is primarily turned on a lathe and I enjoy creating pieces which are not only functional but beautiful and intriguing as well, such as pens, bottle stoppers, sewing tools and coffee scoops. I believe that we can be inspired by the very tools as we artists make beautiful work for others. And, I love creating common objects, such as coffee scoops, that are way beyond just functional, but that add to the owner’s pleasure in everyday use.
