Creating my collages from bits of paper scraps and photos is not unlike doing a puzzle or dressing paper dolls as I did in my childhood in Denmark. This can be done intuitively or with intention. Either way one needs an open mind and time to play. Inspiration may be found anywhere; often in nature, a poem or world events. The medium offers endless possibilities.

While several pieces have been awarded, I create them to have a bit of fun and for self fulfillment. Collage is a very accessible medium and I encourage everyone to give it a try!
