Artist Profile

Amanda Naimie is a bi-racial artist, teaching artist, facilitator, educator, and coach. Naimie started in biomedical research, landed in the classroom for many years, and has now committed fully to her passion for the arts. She is a self-taught painter, who draws inspiration from her grandmother. Passionate about using creativity for healing with young people, she shared her craft with the community as a teaching artist and mentor to many in Hartford. She is an avid DIYer and will try just about anything when it comes to the arts!
