I am an illustrator at heart, attracted to a variety of subject matter. I particularly love the concept of themes. Therefore, a lot of my work is done in series. Whether it be patriotism, the military, law enforcement or firefighters. Perhaps my most favorite subject is sports, specifically portraits of athletes. I consider myself a sports fan. I love to hear stories from folks that I interact with at various art shows as they share with me their encounters with their favorite athletes.

Every painting has a story within it, and the emotions that each piece evokes is personal to the viewer. In some cases, one particular piece may have a multitude of stories, just waiting to be told. Visual Art, as much as it’s musical counterpart, has the ability to allow the viewer to step back in time to re-live a long lost moment. I believe this speaks volumes of the subjectivity of art itself.
