Alex Ranniello is an award-winning artist based out of Enfield, Connecticut with a forte in portraiture and figure painting. His work captures the highest moments of summertime in a way that reflects the human spirit through robust color palettes, gestural whimsical brushstrokes, and luscious warm scenery. Many of his influences derive from icons of 20th century West Coast painting tradition. In addition to his studio practice, Alex is a state-renowned muralist, arts program administrator, and a former assistant gallery manager. Over the years, he has served as a workshop instructor, guest curator & juror, visiting artist, arts event community programmer - all devoted to advocacy for the arts in Connecticut.
