My name is Rebecca Looney. I am an artist and art educator from New Haven CT, currently teaching elementary art in Hartford. I was a part of New Haven Open Studios for years, this is my first open studio event in Hartford. My work explores gesture, nature and common objects around me. I like to explore color and line. I show curiosity about the properties of watercolor paint and it’s interaction with different drawing media.
