West End Woolies

West End Woolies began as a personal return to knitting during a time of loss—and has grown into a welcoming space for learning, creativity, and community. Founded by Kathryn, a public school teacher and knitting instructor passionate about all things teaching and learning, the studio offers multi-week classes, private lessons, and events that bring people together through fiber arts. Kathryn lives in Hartford’s West End with her wife, father, and children. Rooted in care and connection, West End Woolies is where skills are built, friendships are formed, and creativity takes shape—one stitch at a time
