I'm a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and had spent thirty-five years animating children's films and twenty-four years painting patriotic art on rope drums for the military and fife and drum corps. It's possible that you've seen my art without realizing it: military drums that I've painted have been visible in the opening ceremonies of several Super Bowl and World Series games as well as US presidential inaugural parades.

While I'm happy that those drum paintings go on to musical clients around the world, I don't get a chance to showcase them outside of marching venues. I'm finally setting aside time to paint non-commissioned pieces for my own enjoyment that I hope can be seen at art venues. Paintings that expand beyond my usual art painted on drums.
