Suzanne Levy is an artist who explores the interplay of color and form, creating bold, modern artwork that captivates and engages. Working with acrylic paint and a palette knife, she weaves layers of color and texture to produce dynamic, expressive pieces that invite the viewer to explore the details and depth of the surface. Suzanne's passion for art was sparked at an early age.

Born in 1970 in New York, Suzanne was raised in a home filled with art—where drawing on the art studio walls was part of the creative process. Currently living in Connecticut, she is active in the local art scene. As a long-time member of the Canton Artist Guild - Gallery on the Green, Suzanne serves as Chair of the exhibition committee, curating and organizing monthly art shows that highlight the work of talented artists. Her dedication to the arts led her to the New Britain Museum of American Art, where, she has chaired its prestigious fundraising event, The Art Party of the Year, for several years. In addition Suzanne is an active member of Connecticut Women’s Artists, one of the oldest women’s art organizations in the country. Suzanne has showcased her work in numerous gallery and juried exhibitions, fine art festivals, and auctions. Her art is collected in private and corporate collections across the United States and Europe—and even graces the labels of craft beer cans.

While living in Manhattan, Suzanne had the unique opportunity to paint the iconic finish line and city seals artwork for the New York City Marathon in Central Park, capturing the spirit of the city. Suzanne holds a Master’s in Social Work, but it is her deep personal commitment to art that has truly shaped her journey as an artist. Studying at the prestigious Art Students League of New York, the country’s oldest independent art school, she refined and deepened her craft. Suzanne earned her undergraduate degree at Binghamton University, with a major in Spanish. She also studied at the Syracuse University School of Art summer program and at the Montclair Art Museum. Beyond her studio practice, Suzanne is passionate about sharing her knowledge and creativity with others. She has taught art to special needs adults and co-founded Two Women Four Walls with fellow artist Justice Thomas. Through this program, they offer recreational art instruction to diverse community groups, and their work has been featured in local events such as Envisionfest in Hartford, Connecticut.
