The lampwork artwork of Alexandria Lopez is created using a torch flame and glass to create stunning one-of-a-kind beads, pendants, plant stakes, and small sculptures.

She uses primarily soda-lime or “soft” glass and works with the glass in a molten state at over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. After crafting, the glass is annealed in a kiln to make it strong and resistant to breaking.

Alexandria uses this technique to create three-dimensional nature-inspired beads, pendants, and other works that are one of a kind and highly detailed.

Outside of art, Alexandria loves learning about and experiencing nature as well as working her "day job" providing support to adults with intellectual disabilities.
