Grant Announcement posted by Amy LaBossiére
Creative Strategist · Artist · Writer and Principal, Art of Tao LaBossiere LLC
Great news! The Tao LaBossiere Artist Fund at The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has reached the required financial level to start funding small projects. I'm pleased to announce that our first grant will support artist scholarships for Open Studio Hartford, taking place throughout Hartford on the weekend of November 15 and 16.
If you knew Tao, you'd understand how much he loved Open Studio. He managed it for several years and always volunteered to assist with the event at ArtSpace. Supporting artists, especially those facing barriers or restrictions, was something he cared about deeply.
Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this milestone through donations, encouragement, and art purchases. I’ll keep supporting the fund, and I’m grateful we’ve taken this first meaningful step in Tao’s honor.
