Grace C. Epstein retired as an art teacher from Ethel Walker School and now focuses on her own work; painting, drawing and both functional and expressive ceramics. She seeks a balance between expressive work and illustration. Remaining active in Simsbury Open Studios and the Gallery on the Green is also an important part of her life. Grace "gives back" as an administrator for a Facebook page, “Art Beyond Loss” whose members share their unique and inspiring art as they process losses of family members to suicide. Art can bring joy and provide moments of self-reflection.
