A professional artist for more than 40 years, my background as a graphic designer influences everything I create. Pattern, texture and shape are what interests me. I like to say that I make jewelry for people who love art. I studied at Paier School of Art, where I graduated with honors. Since then, I have gone on to learn the art of metalsmithing and metal clay through workshops and classes with many prominent teachers in the field. I'm a Rio Grande certified artisan in the metal clay medium and have achieved level one of the Metal Clay Masters Registry. My studio is in my home in Windsor, Connecticut. I am committed to operating an eco-friendly and ethical studio. I use non-toxic chemicals whenever possible, conserve water, and recycle (including metal and metal dust). Metal clay, a material used in much of my work, is also made of recycled metal. I care about our earth and the health of all beings.
