Ayla Duve is a self-taught artist that mainly uses digital media. She first started with watercolor painting but quickly moved to digital illustration. Her influences are vibrant color palettes, women and nature. She focuses on Black and Brown women because they are not often represented in artwork and wants to give Black and Brown women to see themselves in her work. Her full-time career is a science teacher and you may see some themes in science in her work. In addition to creating digital artwork, she also creates jewelry, stationery, and greeting cards out of would.
