Hello. I'm Dave Nevue, a North East artist. Thank you for visiting my gallery.

Since age 5, I have been passionate about creating art that tells a story. My love for animals is my main inspiration, and my specialty is creating highly detailed and realistic animal portraits that capture each subject's unique characteristics and personality. I also find inspiration from my summer escapades with my wife on Cape Cod, where colorful sunsets have moved me to create pastel artworks of the area's breathtaking seascapes. I primarily use soft pastels and pastel pencils to create vibrant and realistic animal paintings that capture each species' warmth, grace, and beauty. My goal is to convey emotion and character through each stroke and observe subtle details that bring life to every piece.

ACHIEVEMENTS: My Jaguar pastel painting won People's Choice Award at East Granby Public Library 2021.
