ArtSpace is the hub of OSH being the home of the Group Show in its impressive gallery. Residents open their live-in work studios and ArtSpace hosts dozens of visiting artists. Participants are assigned either to the floor space in the gallery (no walls available) or corridor spaces - minimum 15 feet - where they can hang as many artworks as they wish from floor to ceiling. Nails, etc are allowed in the walls and spackling is required post-event. Other display pieces such as tables and easels must be no wider than 18 inches from the wall per the Fire Marshal. Set up times will be available the week leading up to the event. Art Groups of 5 or more are eligible to reserve an entire floor to showcase its members.
All particiipants are encouraged to put a piece in the Group Show at no extra charge while other artists opt for "Group Show Only".

The Parkville section of Hartford is becoming an arts destination. With the help of Parkville Management, we have the opportunity to use raw and finished vacant spaces for artists to show their work during OSH. There are sheetrock and brick walls and wide open spaces. Spaces change each time so details are TBD and photos of the spaces will be added. There is a loading dock and elevators. Parkville Art Gallery is located on the 2nd floor and will be open for OSH. Security is provided. Parking is plentiful and there are amenities such as a brewery on site. It is in walking distance of other art at Parkville Market (the trendy food court), the new banquet hall at Parkville, The Studio by RiseUP and a short distance from 56 Arbor Street.

Parkville Management has opened a spacious event space that can host banquets and special events of all kinds. We are lucky to be able to use it to showcase artists and crafters during OSH! This venue can accommodate 10x10 booths and tent frames. There is space for various types of displays including tables, panels, racks etc. There are no walls to hang on. In order to use 1390 Park for this edition of OSH, it will have to be filled up near maximum capacity. Approximately 30 artists will make it a destination.
